Happy Halloween!

What a fun and exciting Halloween it was....
Thanks Gavin for being the best little lion and for making my favorite holiday the best ever.
Trick-or-treat..... way more treats this year!
Stay tuned for videos of Gavin on Halloween.

Trick-or-Treating

We took Gavin to a few of our friend's houses to trick-or-treat.... and he was pretty excited (I think we were more excited than he was...).

Sarah & Ryan - and that new football from them too!

Maggie & Mark - we get the best pictures with them and Gavin....

Thanks for my new wand Sarah & Ryan.

"May the lion force be with you...."

Bad Weather - Plan B

Where to go when the weather is not great outside with kids? Of course....
the McDonald's play ground!

Loved playing with Daddy on the playground

Pretty cool bridge... Gavin needed a little moral support from Daddy to get up there.

Celebrating Halloween with My Friends

We started the morning of Halloween off meeting friends at Shaw Farms. However, the weather was pretty cold and rainy - so we snapped a few photos of the gang before deciding where to go next.
Gavin, Addie (ladybug), Kate, Ella (cheerleader) and Jack (dinosaur).

Hi Addie... I think lions like ladybugs.....

When I got Gavin's lion costume several weeks back, I tried on numerous occasions to get him to put the head piece on and he wouldn't do it. So, needless to say I was worried that this "lion" costume may not work out. However - Gavin kept this costume on literally all day - except for naptime.... even in the car going from place to place! It was pretty soft and warm - so I'm sure that helped out too.

ROARRRRRR - here comes our Lion!

Halloween was sooo much fun this year! Gavin really got into it... and we had a busy day.
For those of you that know me - I LOVE Halloween. I love the fall weather - I love dressing up (rather dressing Gavin up) - and I love how cute this little lion turned out.
Gavin had the whole "ROAR" part down and also saying "Trick-or-Treat" - we had been practicing for a while... and now the big day was here to try it out.

Our twin nephew's Baptism

Scott and I were so honored to be godparents to Jack & Luc (our twin newphews).
It was a very fun weekend spending time with family and also celebrating the twins baptism.
All these boys.... Gavin just loves spending time with all of them.
