Uncle Ryan & (soon-to-be) Aunt Amy

Uncle Ryan and Amy (who got engaged - thus almost Aunt Amy - and we are SOOO happy! Their big day is in November and we are so thrilled!).... anyways, they came for a visit over SuperBowl weekend. We had lots of fun - from making V-day cookies, playing, and just an adult-night out.

Gavin LOVES his Uncle Ryan & Aunt Amy! Can't wait to have them back in Cinci again soon!

Thank Goodness no more snow!

Here is the front of our new house - we took this in February when Ryan & Amy came for a visit over Super Bowl weekend. I wanted to be sure we captured one photo of the three of us during the winter to remember this is when we moved. I'm glad that stuff melted and it is warm now!
We love our new home - and look forward to lots more family & friends coming to visit!

Happy Valentine's Day

Grandma & Grandpa Cross came for a fun winter visit back in February - and we all got to celebrate V-Day together. And - we couldn't celebrate without my fav cupcakes from The Sweeterie (Mariemont) - LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Gavin of course has a HUGE sweet tooth and litterally could have eaten 3 of these if I would have let him. Thanks for coming and making the trip to Cinci - we always love spending time with G&G!

Art and More

For quite some time, Gavin really enjoys coloring - and I mean for an extended period of time to playing with his sticker book - to now we have moved on to paint sticks, dry-erase board & his own personal art desk (thanks to G&G Gillard). I think it is so great that he enjoys the "creative" side of art and who knows... maybe we have a little artist on our hands. Would love that - he can help decorate my house!

The MIA Gillards

We have SOOO been slacking on our blog posts - and in the last 6 months, lots has been going on.
From moving after the first of the year (which we did post some of those pics) - to finding out we are expanding our family and bringing another little boy to our team (yes, I'm going to be out numbered - or maybe it will be that I can be the "queen" - let me pretend on that one) - we are thrilled and look forward to the arrival of our little man in October. And - Gavin is going to be a great big brother too! Get ready for this ride indeed....

Oh GAVIN - boy has he changed a ton in the last 6 months. Talking ALL the time - Why is one of our favorite words - and no is still in the vocabulary too. Or our newest one - "It's OK Mommy/Daddy" to "You're Welcome...." - he has become this little boy and clearly NOT a little baby anymore. I will try to post a variety of updates in the next few days. We are all doing great - trying to survive this hot summer so far - but loving that we have a pool close to our house to enjoy too.
